FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to otorhinolaryngology and medical cryology, and can be used for treating chronic tonsillitis. That is ensured by cryooxygen exposure by spraying liquefied oxygen under increased pressure with temperature -183 °C or nitrogen-oxygen mixture with temperature -196 °C. Note here that catarrhal inflammatory focus in the area of palatine tonsils and posterior throat wall is exposed by spraying liquefied nitrogen-oxygen mixture with particle size 0.5-1.0 mm at a distance of 0.5-1.0 cm once within 1-2 seconds per one effect area at pressure of 0.2-0.4 MPa. Focus located in the state of hypertrophic, chronic inflammatory or cicatricial changes are exposed by spraying liquefied oxygen dispersity 0.1-5 mm at a distance of 0.5-1.0 cm 3 times with exposition 1 second per one field effect at pressure of 0.3-0.6 Mpa with a corresponding time of tissue thawing.
EFFECT: method provides improved therapeutic effect, increased time and resistance of remission ensured by activation of anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory, repair tissue effects within the exposure area.
