FIELD: mining; gas production industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns rock destruction tool used in drilling wells in formations with high content of gas, wherein drilling process frequently is accompanied by micro eruptions. Projectile for well drilling in highly gaseous seams consists of crown for continuous drilling with flushing channels, case with stops arranged in housing cavity rod valve with radial channels and lugs on external surface interacting with stops by means of radial spring-loaded pins. Ledges on outer surface of valve are made in form of truncated cone with cylindrical section on side of larger base of cone facing towards bit, difference between larger and smaller bases cone s is defined by expression s = (D-d)/2, where D - diameter of well, d is diameter of bit.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of reliability of projectile and improved safety of drilling operations for service personnel.
