FIELD: radio engineering and communications.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in radio engineering, antenna engineering in SHF-EHF range, and is intended for use in radio communication systems, radio bearing, radio tracking and radio monitoring. Method of displaying the geographic coordinates (latitude and longitude) points, uniformly distributed in the zone of guaranteed signal level (GSL),in a linear system of geocentric coordinates, serial transfer of linear coordinates of GSL field in system of linear coordinates of onboard antenna, then in antenna azimuth-elevation coordinate system and display of electromagnetic waves, propagating from each of the points in GSL field on the Earth surface in the form of geometrical-optic beams (GO-beams) with equal amplitude, determining antenna radiation partial patterns (RP) in azimuth-elevation coordinate system of onboard antenna, whereupon aperture plane of irradiators cluster, forming antenna radiation partial patterns is installed perpendicular to the focal axis of paraboloid which forms antenna mirror, and the resultant cluster is formed by penetration of GO-beams in the main lobe range of each antenna partial RP, and the location of central irradiator in the formed area of cluster group is placed in area close to focal axis of paraboloid, while peripheral irradiators are installed in a way so that their RP overlap remaining part of GO-points projection in antenna azimuth-elevation coordinate system until full formation of GSL field.
EFFECT: alignment (by intensity) of power flow density upon covering given area of GSL on the ground surface with smaller number of radiators.
