FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and can be used as on-board antennae for communication satellites on a geostationary orbit to provide a multibeam coverage area of a selected surface of the earth in the microwave band. Disclosed multibeam hybrid mirror antenna, comprising a reflector in the form of an axially asymmetrical cutting of a paraboloid of revolution, an irradiating antenna array with irradiators, the longitudinal axis of which is inclined towards the focal axis and the number of which is equal to the number of the formed partial beam patterns, wherein the normal to the aperture plane of which is inclined relative to the focal axis of the paraboloid which forms the reflector, wherein the aperture plane of the irradiating antenna array is orthogonal to the focal axis of the paraboloid which forms the reflector, and the longitudinal axes of peripheral irradiators of the irradiating antenna array are inclined relative to the inclination of the longitudinal axes of the irradiators, and the further from the centre, the more the irradiating antenna array is able to move along the focal axis of the paraboloid which forms the reflector.
EFFECT: designing a multibeam hybrid mirror antenna which provides coverage of a selected area on the earth's surface which is uniform on antenna gain in partial beams.
