FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: rolling of strips of preset width B mm with specified bulge of transverse section not exceeding 0.06 mm is performed at the continuous wide-strip mill. This results from rolling sequentially not over 30 strips of width B1<(B-50) mm for warming the roll bodies and at least 2000 tons of rolled stock of width B2 mm within the limits of one run of the rolls. Note here that B≤B2≤(B+50), and not over 1050 tons of rolled stock of preset width B at the end of working rolls run.
EFFECT: higher precision of geometrical sizes over the strip width.
