SUBSTANCE: invention relates to geophysics and can be used to record seismic data. A seismic recording system is disclosed. According to one embodiment, the seismic recording system includes a recorder, having a storage device, which is provided with a communication protocol application program stored therein, and one or more blocks of sensitive elements which are in communication with the recorder via a communication network. Each block of sensitive elements may include a storage device which is provided with a communication protocol application program stored therein.
