FIELD: instrument making.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in systems of orientation, navigation and control of various mobile objects. Proposed electrostatic gyroscope has rotor, main stator with supporting electrodes on cylindrical working surface, two additional stators with electrodes and rotor drive, rotor is made in form of ring with spherical external (outer) surface, additional stators, adjacent to main central stator are made with electrodes on spherical working surfaces or on conical surfaces, tangential to spherical surface of rotor and rotor drive is made in form of facing stator with windings and outer working surface opposite rotor ring inner cylindrical surface. Rotor ring can be made with width B, which satisfies condition A > B > C, where A is thickness of package of three stators, and C is thickness of main stator.

EFFECT: technical result achieved by proposed invention consists in improvement of accuracy and overload capacity of micro mechanical electrostatic gyroscope with continuously rotating rotor.
