FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in systems for orientation and navigation of mobile objects (aircraft, ship, car), in tilt meters (for underground navigation) and other devices, where information on angular velocities obtained by means of micromechanical gyroscope is required. Electromagnetic gyroscope has a ferromagnetic rotor in form of a ring with spherical outer and cylindrical inner surfaces, top, central and lower stators of electromagnetic suspension of rotor, wherein stator for rotor rotation is turned and is placed inside rotor ring, wherein rotor ring is made with width B, which satisfies condition A>B>C, where A is thickness of a package of three stators, C is thickness of central stator.
EFFECT: simplified design of electromagnetic gyroscope, high overload capacity and prevention of accidental rolling of rotor at external perturbations, which exceed a preset value.
