FIELD: engines.
SUBSTANCE: method of aviation turbo shaft engine converting in ground-based gas-turbine plant. Blades are removed from flow parts of compressor last stages and turbine first stages. First stage nozzle assembly (from remaining) of converted turbine is replaced with nozzle assembly of higher performance. Gaseous low-calorie fuel of gas or biogas type product is supplied for combustion to combustion chamber burners. In steady-state operating mode of converted engine temperature of combustion products of gas in chamber maximum of 800 K is set by fuel consumption variation. Degree of compressor full pressure increase is decreased up to 3-4. Mechanical energy is transferred to power consumer through engine output shaft with reduction gear.
EFFECT: invention allows to ensure operation of spent engine operating life using low-calorie gaseous fuel from solid household wastes and bio-waste, improves environment, reduce costs for operation of plants and increase their operating life.
