SUBSTANCE: method of sowing seeds of grain crops include sowing cereal crops in a band with higher seeding rate through a band with low seeding rate. Sowing in a band with higher seeding rate and in a band or row with a low seeding rate is performed using seeds of a spring or winter cereal crop with distance between thickly seeded bands Ln=2×lm-lp where: lm is inter-row band, lp is band width, and 22.5≤Ln≤30 cm.

EFFECT: speeding up ripening of cereal crops, high drowning resistance of cereal crops; crop yield and quality of grain.
