FIELD: nuclear physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to monitoring stability of internal barriers safety at preservation of uranium-graphite reactor. Method of monitoring stability of internal barriers safety at preservation of uranium-graphite reactor includes simultaneous generation and registration of gamma-quanta and neutrons using a detector with a layer of cadmium, determinirovanie gamma-quanta based on energy, measurement of density of rocks, at that, in development of internal barriers safety set inspection channels in the form of casing pipes in amount of not less than three in places for gamma-ray logging at reference points selected taking into account individual design features of uranium-graphite reactor, the background gamma-radioactive yield point defined in-core structures over time using a special small-size of the probing device consisting of a neutron generator, a system of detectors for detecting gamma-radiation and heat neutrons, protective housing, that is followed by pulsed neutron-neutron logging in corresponding reference points for detection of cavities in places of shrinkage is combined with filling said pulse neutron gamma-ray logging for determining moisture content in used barrier materials.
EFFECT: possibility of remote monitoring stability of internal barriers safety at preservation of uranium-graphite reactor.
