FIELD: measurement technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for nondestructive analysis of samples of porous materials. This invention consists in that initial saturation of sample of porous medium with electrically conducting fluid, or together with electroconductive liquid and nonconducting fluid, or only nonconducting fluid, then the first measurement of specific electric resistance at different points along the length of sample of porous medium is made and filtration experiment providing pumping contaminant solution through the sample of porous medium, during or after filtering experiment there is second measurement of specific electric resistance in the same points of sample is performed at points of the first measurement, based on measurements the profile of rock saturation with filtrate and profile of the ratio of changed porosity to initial porosity are calculated.

EFFECT: enabling determination of profile of properties in a sample of porous medium after exposure to contaminant solution based on change of electrical resistivity.
