SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine. A method for individual's breath control is implemented with the help of a breath control device. That involves receiving gas into a measuring cell from a duct, which is fluid-connected to the individual's airway by means of a coupling unit which is inserted into the individual's airway. The measuring cell is configured to pump out the gas received from the duct. A composition sensor is used to generate output signals of the gas composition received in the measuring cell. A pressure sensor is used to generate output signals of duct pressure. A processor unit identifies breathing by analysing the output signals of the duct pressure. The processor unit also detects a breathing parameter by analysing the output signals of the gas composition and the identified breathing. Besides, the processor unit is used to type the coupling unit by analysing the output signals of the pressure sensor. The processor unit detects the breathing parameter by analysing the output signals generated by the composition sensor and the coupling unit type.
EFFECT: achieving more accurate measurement of the breathing parameter by typing the coupling unit, which is inserted into the individual's airway, and correcting the controlled breathing parameter in accordance with the coupling unit type.
