FIELD: acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to acoustics, particularly earphones. Electrodynamic radiator of earphone comprises a body, a movable diaphragm, surface of which is equipped with conductors, magnetic system made up of multiple adjacent permanent magnets. Permanent magnets are made semicircular in cross section or a trapezoidal shape, facing diaphragm, and distance between adjacent magnets is not less than 2/3 of width of said permanent magnets. Diaphragm is made of kapton and has corrugations, corrugations are made on perimeter of diaphragm and arranged transversely to direction of conductors. Corrugations have height in range 0.1-1 mm. Along perimeter of edge of membrane at site of attachment to body there is a vibration damping material having a wedge-shaped cross-section. Magnets are placed on metal grids, and gap between magnets of magnetic system and diaphragm is adjusted by frame for membrane. Vibration damping material used is a composition based on polyvinyl acetate.
EFFECT: technical result is improved acoustic power of radiator, reduction of spurious resonances.
