FIELD: headphones.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of headphones, specifically to the design of plug-in headphones. Plug-in headphone comprises a housing accommodating a planar emitter. Front part of the housing in front of the planar emitter has a sound channel of a horn-like shape, the space of the housing behind the planar emitter is divided into two chambers by a partition with an opening, on the chamber near the planar emitter and behind the partition. Sound channel is located along the axis of the planar emitter and has a smooth form of a horn, first narrowing from the planar emitter to about half the length of the sound channel and expanding at the end along an approximately parabolic curve. Housing behind partition is equipped with hole communicating chamber behind partition with atmosphere.
EFFECT: technical result is increase in acoustic power at the output of the audio channel of the earphone while reducing nonlinear distortion of sound.
