HOT-WATER BOILER Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC F24H1/12

Abstract RU 2580253 C1

FIELD: heating.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in heat supply systems of industrial and residential buildings. Boiler consists of a cylindrical housing with a furnace and a convection chamber coaxial with it. On the front edge of the furnace along its longitudinal axis there is installed a burner, while close to the rear edge of the furnace there is installed a gas splitter. Parallel to the surface of the furnace there is a water-cooled heating surface. Furnace water-cooled heating surface and heating surfaces of convection chamber are connected to supply and discharge manifolds. Longitudinal axis of the boiler is oriented horizontally. Hot-water boiler is detachable in vertical longitudinal plane, for which purpose a pair of parallel manifolds installed along the whole length of the boiler and separated by internal partitions into supply and discharge sections is arranged in the upper and lower parts of the housing, respectively, on both sides of the diametrical vertical plane of the boiler housing halves detachment; at that, the upper and lower manifolds located on one side of the detachment plane are connected in the furnace area by arc-shaped pipes congruent in shape with the inner surface of the boiler and forming furnace screens, while heating surfaces of the convection chamber comprise transversely stream-lined pipe bundles, made of parallel packets, each having bow-shaped pipes, ends of which are connected either to the top and bottom manifolds of the appropriate half of the boiler, or with descending and ascending coaxial branch pipes communicating with these manifolds. Gas splitter is equipped with a dissecting cone and connected to it tubular element, both coaxial with longitudinal axis of the boiler; at that, the surface of the gas splitter dissecting cone divider facing the furnace is made in the shape of a conoid.

EFFECT: invention ensures reduction in the boiler unit production costs, higher efficiency and improved repairability.
