FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for postharvest preparation of seeds. Seed cleaning unit comprises a receiving device, a compartment for primary cleaning of grain heap, a compartment with silos for cleaned grain storage and a compartment for secondary cleaning of grain on the photo-separator. Receiving device consists of two sections, each of which has a bucket chain. Compartment for primary cleaning includes two parallelly located air-grid grain cleaning machines for treatment of grain heap and for its division into fractions, and hoppers for their collection. Photo-separator is installed on the hopper with two sections. In the first section of the hopper a divider is installed, and in the second section - a gravity-flowing device.
EFFECT: seed-cleaning unit ensures reception of high-quality seeds with reduction of costs for their preparation.
