GRAIN CLEANING AND DRYING COMPLEX Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: complex has pneumatic- screen type grain cleaning machines arranged so as to provide for grain precleaning, coarse cleaning and recleaning for single passage of seeds and grain through each of them. Machines are equipped with branch pipes at the side of axial line of cleaning section for discharge of grain by gravity into feeding hopper of intermediate bucket elevator, and of forage and wastes into respective sections. Intermediate bucket elevator has grain guides for supplying grain into grading units and hoppers for clean grain. Clean grain hoppers are provided with gates for supplying grain by gravity into feeding hopper of charging bucket elevator of drying section. Feeding hopper has detachable wall adapted for dividing it into two sections. Air ducts for supplying and discharge of drying agent are covered with heat insulating material. Cleaning section horizontal air duct is led out through building side wall and inserted into light contaminants hopper equipped with closure. Hopper for charging grain into sacks has branch pipes with gates and sack holders, and closure. Complex of such construction may be used for postharvest treatment of grain and seed of different food or seed crops, primarily cereals, and allows grain or seed cleaning, drying and processing to be carried out within compact structure without deteriorating biological properties of grain during storage.
