SUBSTANCE: method of displaying indicators of found positions on a multiple of levels of a multi-level map includes receiving input information indicating search criteria; determining, by a processor, a found position related to the search criteria; determining a relationship between the found position and the multi-level map and initiating, based at least partly on the relationship, the display of a level of the map and the found position in the form of an indicator of the found position. The displayed indicator of the found position is presented in a different manner based at least partly on whether the found position is on the level of the map which is displayed or is on another level of the map.

EFFECT: providing the presentation of found positions, indicating whether the found positions are on the current displayed level or another level of the multi-level map.
