FIELD: cooling.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of cooling a single- or multi-component stream via indirect heat exchange with a coolant mixture in a coolant mixture circulation loop. Coolant mixture is compressed in two steps, divided into a low-boiling, compressed to final pressure of the coolant mixture circulation loop, fraction of the coolant mixture and one high-boiling fraction, compressed to an intermediate pressure, fraction of the coolant mixture. High-boiling fraction of the coolant mixture is injected to the pressure of the low-boiling fraction of the coolant mixture and before indirect heat exchange or directly at the beginning thereof is combined with the low-boiling fraction of the coolant mixture.
EFFECT: technical result is a method of cooling which requires less expenses on equipment and control.
