FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in design of tracks of high-speed vehicles. Caterpillar with flexible hinges comprises flexible rubber-metal joints, rigidly fixed on links by means of fixture and coupling bolts. End walls of tracks, limiting relative rotation of adjacent tracks with deflection of road irregularities, are inclined relative to vertical to support pads tracks. Rubber lining hinge are equipped with shaped ledges arranged on side of tracks in symmetry about lengthwise axis and interacting with recesses on end surfaces of tracks with deflection of track.
EFFECT: longer service life of joints due to limitation of overloading thereof.
