SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a cutter for drilling layouts tunnel boring machine. Arrangement of cutter with pressure compensation for drill tunnel boring machine includes a shaft, an annular cutter assembly rotatably mounted on said shaft, and first and second end clamps, fixed non-rotating shaft. Groups of rotating seals submerged in grease, creating a moving seal between rotating ring cutter assembly and end clamps. Moving piston member is exposed to external pressure and is in contact with lubricant, so that an increase in external pressure-increases lubrication pressure, wherein pressure difference across seal is maintained small. In one embodiment, piston is part of a floating retainer. In other embodiments, piston is an annular piston or piston is a plurality of pistons mounted in terminal holder.

EFFECT: technical result is prevention of ingress of dirt and other foreign substances in assembly of rolling cutter operating in conditions of high hydrostatic pressure.
