SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of presenting information signals using overlapping conversion. An information signal recovery module is configured to recover, using spectrum aliasing suppression, an information signal from a presentation of the overlapping conversion of the information signal comprising, for each of successive overlapping regions of the information signal, inverse conversion of the window of the version of the corresponding region, wherein the information signal recovery module is configured to recover an information signal at a sampling frequency which varies at the boundary between the preceding region and the subsequent region of the information signal. An information signal recovery module comprises a re-converter, configured to apply re-conversion to the inverse conversion of the window of the version of the preceding region, so as to obtain re-conversion for the preceding region, and apply re-conversion to the inverse conversion of the window of the version of the subsequent region.

EFFECT: high coding efficiency.
