SUBSTANCE: device for decoding an encoded signal comprises: an audio decoder (1102) for decoding an encoded representation of the first set of the first spectral parts to obtain the decoded first set of the first spectral parts (1101); a parametric decoder (1104) for decoding the encoded parametric representation of the second set of the second spectral parts to obtain the decoded representation of the parametric representation (1103). The parametric information includes, for each target frequency fragment, the identification data of the source area as a match information; and a frequency re-generation module (1106) for reproducing the target frequency fragment using the source area from the first set of the first spectral parts (1101) identified by the match information.
