FIELD: geophysics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to development and production of soil from bottom of water bodies. For development and production of soil at the bottom of basin grab bucket on rope is lowered at the basin bottom, loaded with soil when its jaws closing due to vertical force up rope/ropes or operation of mechanisms inside grab bucket/on grab bucket, grab bucket is lifted above water level and unloads taken soil in to vehicle or unloading site. Grab bucket operation cycle starts with installation and attachment of at least one vessel with compressed air on each jaw/jaws at their outer side. Air from vessel/vessels via corresponding channel/channels can pass in tight pockets attached to the outer surface of jaws and tight pockets are inflated with air at the end of loading process or immediately after loading grab bucket with soil. When grab bucket leaves water, air is released from pockets, and after unloading soil from grab bucket vessels are removed from its jaws, replaced with new vessels with pumped air.
EFFECT: reduced power consumption.
