FIELD: hygiene; chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: personal care composition comprises: a cosmetic medium base, at least one active compound and at least one ionogenic or ionic comb copolymer comprising: A) one or more structural units derived from at least one member selected from a group consisting of olefinically unsaturated anionic, anionic and zwitterionic comonomer, and B) one or more structural units having formula as indicated in claims, and where concentration of ionic and ionic structural units in copolymer is from about 10 to about 450 meq per 100 g of polymer weight associative components Z is from about 3 to about 40 g per 100 g of polymer and ratio of associative components Z to ionic and ionic structural units is from about 0.025 to about 1.3. Also disclosed is a version of a personal care composition.
EFFECT: technical result is ionic and ionic comb used as a modifier in personal care compositions, which leads to improved sensory characteristics and an increased deposition efficiency of active ingredients.
