FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves conducting acupuncture by means of a needle-shaped device comprising two headed connected rods. The head of the device has a three-dimensional, plate-like or ring-shaped form. A loaded pendant is attached to the rod head. One of the rod ends is pointed, whereas the other one extends into a straight or arched portion connecting the rods and rigidly attached to one end of a secondary rod, on the other end of which the rod head is provided. The needle is inserted within an acupuncture point, particularly AT17 and AT18, brought under the skin, and outside through the skin within the other acupuncture point.
EFFECT: enlarging the reflexogenic zone, which is under the effect of the needle, two or three times as much as compared to known devices, higher anti-adaptation effect, simultaneous formation of two or more acustracts that ensured the more pronounced effect in the form of active weight reduction, formation of correct eating behaviour, harmonisation of gastric enzyme system, elimination of hypersalivation, reduction of depression severity and length, intensification of endorphin synthesis and metabolic processes, fast suppression of appetite, stable reduced weight lasting for up to 1 year, reduced period for increasing physical abilities of the body - mobility of joints, ligaments, and muscle functions.
