FIELD: transport machinery.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to automotive industry. According to the first version, vehicle body comprises lengthwise and crosswise elements. Transverse element has a linking surface, which configures the top surface, rib part and vertical wall surface. Transverse element has a flange formed on the longitudinal end continuously around surface of link, rib part and vertical wall surface. Flange has a width at its centre towards perimeter of curved part, not less than the minimum width of flange in the area, excluding centre towards perimeter of curved part. Transverse element has tensile strength 440 MPA or higher. According to the second version, vehicle body comprises front floor panel, lateral lengthwise beam and transverse floor crossbar. Front floor panel has a tunnel part with vertical wall and has flanged parts at both transverse edges. Lateral longitudinal beam is connected through the flanged part with the front floor panel.
EFFECT: higher design stiffness is provided.
