SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture. To estimate efficiency of use in conditions of salinity preparations-stimulant for presowing treatment of seeds of grain crops seeds are treated preparations-stimulators, is placed processed and unprocessed preparations-stimulators seeds in a container, exposed seeds in conditions of salinity, determined and compared parameters describing germination processed and unprocessed preparations-stimulators of seeds. One uses a closed reservoir, in suspension processed and unprocessed preparations-stimulators of seeds, dry seeds is filled with sand, the weight of which in 4 times greater than the weight of seeds, and added to the capacity equal to weighed portions seeds amount of solutions of salts. To estimate efficiency of use in conditions of salinity preparations-stimulants used is the difference in an amount of carbon dioxide released at one central corn seed in germination of seeds in contact with solutions of salts at room temperature during 16-28 hours. Higher value characterizes the best sowing quality of seeds and quality of preparation-stimulator.

EFFECT: invention allows evaluating biological activity of promoters of seed germination and solving problem of selection of preparations-stimulant for presowing treatment of seeds.
