FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: patient with organic mental disorders conducted neuropsychological tests designed to assess the state of the non-verbal and verbal functions, the results of which reveal the existence of violations of the following functions: general mental activity and behavior, programming and control of voluntary activity, the inner voice programming, continuous organization of movement and kinetic basis speech, neurodynamics, emotional background, kinesthetic praxis and kinesthetic basis of speech, auditory gnosis, phonemic hearing, audio-verbal memory, spatial organization of perception and movement, visual memory, simultaneous analysis and synthesis of speech, visual gnosis, hemispheric interaction, modal-nonspecific memory prosodic feature of speech, neurodynamic characteristics of mental activity. Depending on the identified violations of a particular function determine the localization of the lesion in the brain.

EFFECT: method allows localization of damage to brain structures with organic mental disorders due to get an accurate diagnosis of neuropsychological function, which gives an idea about the mechanisms of disorders of higher mental functions, which subsequently can be used to build programs of rehabilitative training.
