FIELD: navigation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to navigation of ground vehicles and is intended to build Doppler sensors for lengthwise, creep and pitch velocity. Single-beam Doppler velocity sensor, comprising series-connected receiving-radiating device and device for measuring frequency Δff>Δfs, where Δff is width of band filter Δfs spectrum width of useful signal. Sensor includes second frequency meter with Δff<Δfc, frequency subtraction circuit, a corrector and circuit for summation of frequencies.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at improving accuracy of measuring speed of a ground vehicle with help of CFS by compensating for offset error in mean frequency offset error signal in frequency spectrum of signal maximum value of which is proportional to average frequency error.
