FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to angular motion control of primarily nonlinear time-varying systems with variable parameters, in particular of aircraft with vertical takeoff and landing. Method comprises generating aircraft gyrostabilising moment using a liquid gyroscope: toroidal ring, in which spiral twisting flow of fluid (liquid metal) around central and circular axes of torus. Liquid gyroscope is mounted inside aircraft through shock absorbers. Device, in version of vertical takeoff and landing aircraft, comprises said liquid gyroscope, two circulation pumps and hydrodynamic nozzles for said helical twist of liquid. There is a control system of precession motion of liquid gyroscope, actuating members which are two pairs of gas-jet control surfaces located on mutually perpendicular axes.
EFFECT: technical result of group of inventions is to increase stability of controlled objects of said type.
