FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is the polymer film with enhanced energy-protective properties, which is suitable for application on a transparent or semitransparent surface, such as glass, and which is 50% transparent for visible light, characterised by that it includes a polymer substrate layer on its upper part as a functional layer, a metal layer consisting of antimony and/or arsenic together with indium and gallium. The polymer film includes indium (In), gallium (Ga), antimony (Sb) and arsenic (As), which are present in the form of an alloy, for example indium antimonide, gallium antimonide, indium arsenide, gallium indium arsenide and/or gallium arsenide, in the amount of 4.0 ppmw and not more than 25 ppmw. Also described is the sheet glass to which the said film is attached, and objects equipped with the said sheet glass. Methods of producing the said film, glass and objects are also described.
EFFECT: reduced heat absorption in a vehicle or a building equipped with the said films during summer, saving cooling energy.
