SUBSTANCE: invention relates to deformable aluminium-based alloys of Al-Zn-Mg-Cu of low density and articles made thereof and intended for one-time use. Alloy with a density of 2.80 g/cm3 contains, wt%, zinc 6.0-8.0 magnesium 3.4-4.2 copper 0.8-1.3, scandium 0.02-0.06, zirconium 0.07-0.12 beryllium 0.0005-0.004, cerium 0.01-0.05, titanium 0.02-0.05, silicon 0.01-0.10, iron 0.01-0.15, unavoidable impurities from group Mn, Cr, V, Mo, Li, Ag, K, Na, O in a total amount of not more than 0.10, Al - balance, wherein alloy contains hydrogen in an amount of 0.05-0.35 cm3/100 g metal.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at producing an alloy of Al-Zn-Mg-Cu with high strength and low density with satisfactory relative elongation in transverse direction and thickness of product.
