SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ice breaker and ice-cleaning vessels. Ice breaker-ice cleaning vessel 1 comprises ice-breaking wedge consisting of working bottoms 2R, 2L with sides 3R, 3L. Working bottoms 2R, 2L are bent along an arc and protrude beyond transverse dimensions of vessel only under ice cover 4. Cutters FL, FR, FC cut from ice cover two strips 4L and 4R before nose part of vessel. Strips 4L and 4R are buried by working bottoms 2R, 2L below lower surface of ice cover 4 and are pushed out by sides 3R, 3L at a distance h from edges of channel.

EFFECT: higher quality of cleaning channel from ice fragments.
