FIELD: energy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering and can be used in evaporation cooling towers of tower type. Aerodynamic cooling tower includes stack with air inlet openings in its base, water catch pit, water-distribution system, sprayer with inclined surfaces and wind wheel coupled with electric generator. In wind cooling tower water distribution system and inclined planes of sprinkler are extended from stack to outside and installed on annular base, and on top are covered with cover installed above air inlet openings, wherein annular base is made with inclination towards water-collecting basin, and its area is equal to area of base of tower, and water distribution system is made in form of annular tube with branch pipes located at bottom in inclined planes of sprinkler at angle to radius of base of cooling tower. At that, water sprinklers are installed on them, directed so that water droplets falling on inclined planes of sprinkler, located in air inlet openings at same angle to radius of base of tower, as branch pipes of circular water distributing system.
EFFECT: invention allows increasing heat efficiency of cooling towers, as well as use of potential energy of return water for electric power generation.
