FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport. Wheel comprises a wheel hub mounted via bearings on axle of a wheel pair, a flexible band secured to wheel hub through an interlayer, for example rubber, which rotates independently from a support disc through bearing, thus reducing rolling resistance of wheel pair particularly in curved sections of track. Wheel is provided with an equalisation ring which is fixed to studs mounted rigidly on wheel hub parallel to its axis, which provide required axial displacement compensating ring, and its adhesion to end surface of support disc is set with adjustable pressing springs.
EFFECT: technical result is improved comfort and stability of rectilinear motion of a wheel pair.
