FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy of noble metals and alloys, particularly to palladium-based alloys used in jewellery industry. According to one version, alloy contains, wt%: Palladium 50-95, cobalt 3-5, silicon 0.5-2, copper - up to 40, boron 0.01-1.0, at least one element selected from a group comprising: gold - up to 30, indium - up to 10, gallium - up to 10, with total content of cobalt and silicon not more than 5 %, after thermal or thermomechanical processing alloy has structure reinforced with intermetallide Co2Si. According to second version alloy contains, wt%: palladium 50-85, cobalt 11-13.5, aluminium 1.5-4, copper - up to 40, boron 0.01-1.0, at least one element selected from a group comprising: gold - up to 30, indium - up to 10, gallium - up to 10, with the total content of cobalt and aluminium not exceeding 15 %, after thermal or thermomechanical processing alloy has structure reinforced with intermetallides Co3Al, CoAl, Co2Al3.
EFFECT: technical result is improved strength properties, especially hardness, while maintaining level of casting characteristics and plasticity.
