FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy of noble metals and alloys, particularly to palladium-based alloys used in jewellery industry. According to one version, alloy contains, wt%: palladium 50-95, iron 3-5, silicon 0.5-2, boron 0.01-1.0, at least one element selected from a group comprising: copper up to 40, gold - 30, indium - 10, gallium - 10, with total content of iron and silicon of not more than 5 %, after thermal or thermomechanical processing alloy has structure reinforced with intermetallide Fe2Si. According to second version alloy contains, wt%: palladium 50-85, iron 11-13.5, aluminium 1.5-4, boron 0.01-1.0, at least one element selected from a group comprising: copper up to 40, gold - 30, indium - 10, gallium - 10, with total content of iron and aluminium not exceeding 15 %, after thermal or thermomechanical processing alloy has structure reinforced with intermetallides Fe3Al, FeAl, Fe2Al3.
EFFECT: technical result is improved strength properties, especially hardness, while maintaining level of casting characteristics and plasticity.
