FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transformer-thyristor devices for smooth-step voltage control under load. Transformer-thyristor device for smooth-step voltage control under load in each phase comprises adjustment winding with branches, selector with input and two output terminals. Two output contacts connected with two branches form with two symmetrical thyristor switches and current-limiting reactors adjustment winding stage circuit, which is connected to end of phase. In control winding stage circuit of each phase two current-limiting reactors are made in form of unit of reactors, windings of which are arranged concentrically with maximum approximation to each other and with opposite winding of coils. Each current-limiting reactor is made up of first and second parts of windings. First part of windings are connected to corresponding selector output contact with free ends. Each second part of coil is connected in series to one thyristor key and is shunted by quick-acting safety device. Free ends of thyristor switches are connected to each other and to end of phase.
EFFECT: invention enables to minimise power losses due to shunting part of winding of current-limiting reactors in circuit switching thyristors and reducing cost of device because of two current-limiting reactors in form of reactors.
