FIELD: shipbuilding.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ship building, namely, to outboard motors. Outboard motor comprises engine with output shaft, sterntube drive, sterntube with drive and driven shafts, propeller screw, screw clamps. Shafts are installed inside sterntube pipe and interconnected by chain transmission. Outboard motor is made quick-detachable. Engine is equipped with horizontal mounting platform and sterntube is equipped with support platform and together with clamps of motor attachment to boat transom is mounted on support platform. Horizontal mounting platform is equipped with dampers and can be arranged on support platform with fixation on it by means of quick-detachable connection. Sterntube drive is made in form of v-belt variator, which drive pulley is installed on engine output shaft and driven pulley is fitted on sterntube drive shaft.

EFFECT: ease of transfer and fast assembly and disassembly of said engine, possibility of changing transmission gear ratio.
