FIELD: cable technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to tests of metal structures and can be used in cable engineering for estimation of serviceability of submersible electric motors cable couplings. Test bench for tests of cable couplings comprises heat chamber with cover accommodating tested coupling. Heat chamber is divided by piston into upper and lower cavities, to upper cavity pipeline is connected for pumping salt solution, and to lower cavity and to inner cavity of tested coupling oil supply pipelines are connected. Pipeline for salt solution pumping and oil feed pipeline connected to inner cavity of tested coupling are connected via distributor and are equipped with individual pressure gauges and common differential pressure gauge. Cable coupling is mounted into plug fixed in cover.
EFFECT: technical result is possibility of testing cable couplings on pressure drop at high temperatures and in presence of aggressive medium.
