FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used in electric drives of RLS (radar location station), steering electric drive. Alternating current electric drive comprises rotor position sensor connected to rotor of synchronous motor with permanent magnets connected by phase windings to output voltage inverter, which input is connected to vector modulator, first input of which is connected to current module controller, which input is connected to adder, first input of which is connected to setter of current module, second input of which is connected to first output of coordinate converter, input of which is connected to sensors of motor phase currents. Second input of vector modulator is connected to output phase current regulator, input of which is connected to adder, first input of which is connected to second output of coordinate converter, and second input is connected to output of position sensor. Electric drive can contain adder connected between output of phase current regulator and second input of vector modulator, wherein second input of adder is connected to output of rotor position sensor.
EFFECT: longer range of speed control motor due to control engine currents in polar coordinate system, improved operational characteristics of engine and higher reliability of drive.
