FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring equipment and can be used in fire protection systems, for controlling and regulating temperature in reactors, and fire alarm systems and in catalyst structures with autothermal heating. Heat-sensitive cable comprises a metal outer shell and a central electrode, separated by semiconductor filler. Between central electrode and outer shell there are at least two inner shells, between which there are consecutive layers of semiconductor filler with positive or negative temperature coefficient of resistance, which provide fixation of temperature or temperature interval at coincidence of temperature coefficients of electrical resistance of layers. In systems for monitoring and controlling temperature, not only temperature is measured, given temperature range as well.
EFFECT: higher reliability of heating emergency signal through duplication thereof.
