FIELD: test and measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of manufacturing thermal responsive sensor cables with semiconductor oxide fillers, used for temperature monitoring in aviation emergency systems and for monitoring and protecting various power plants of industrial enterprises. Method includes filling the coaxial metal preform with polycrystalline fillers, cold mechanical pressing, multiple drawing of the billet through a series of spinnerets with periodic heat treatments, while the oxide phases of solid solutions or complex oxides capable of decaying during process heat treatments with increasing number of polycrystals are used as fillers.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the uniformity of the electrophysical characteristics of fillers of sensor cables and reduces the proportion of rejects that occur when there are significant deviations in the electrophysical characteristics from the specified ones.
