FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for protection of armoured vehicles. Device includes an armoured cap in form of truncated cone with hatch in upper part. Armoured cap a has a hatch collar with circular guide and front window opening, which is covered by walls of two armoured cassettes, perforated through inclined inspection slots. Armoured cassettes are made of sheet armour material in form of truncated cone, placed one into another and coaxially arranged in armoured cap with possibility of circular rotation of each of cassettes in opposite directions. Rotation speed of armoured cassettes provides flicker frequency inspection slots above sensitivity threshold of human eye. Rotation drive via gearing with electric motors supplied from onboard network of basic machine, toothed shanks which are engaged with rims of armoured cassettes.
EFFECT: protection of driver without deterioration of safety of armoured vehicle by scanning in sector more 180° and visibility of traffic environment through inspection openings.
