FIELD: means of ensuring safety.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device for protecting vehicle driver. Device comprises shield attached to vehicle booth, which includes rectangular box-shaped armored frame provided with brackets for fastening, closed on outside with two armored strips and curved armored sheet with window for observation. In cavity of rectangular box-shaped armored frame, rotor of armor material is installed, in each blade of which one observation slot is made at such distances from horizontal axis, so that viewing slot upper boundary of previous blade coincides with observation slot lower boundary of subsequent blade. Rotor drive includes motor, which is rigidly coupled to its axis, connected via plug connector, speed controller, signal lamp, fuse, switch and power supply.

EFFECT: improved visibility of driver is achieved with increasing its security.
