SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of accelerating growth in cementing composition strength, including: provision of curable composition containing pearlite, hydraulic cement and water, in which pearlite and hydraulic cement are grounded together prior to mixing with water to form curable composition, wherein jointly grounded pearlite and hydraulic cement have bimodal distribution of particle sizes with the first peak of approximately 1 micron to 7 microns and with the second peak of approximately 7 to 15 microns, alternatively, with the first peak of approximately 3 to 5 microns and with the second peak of approximately 9 to 11 microns and, alternatively, with the first peak of approximately 4 microns and the second peak of approximately 10 microns; and allowing curable composition to set; where pearlite is present in an amount of from approximately 50 wt. % to approximately 70%. by weight of pearlite and hydraulic cement and where hydraulic cement is present in an amount of approximately 30 wt. % to approximately 50 wt. % by weight of pearlite and hydraulic cement. Invention also relates to a composition for accelerating growth in cementing composition strength.
EFFECT: faster growth of cementing composition strength.
