FIELD: aviation.

SUBSTANCE: multistage system for determining of aircraft location is intended for detection and measurement of coordinates of aircraft using hyperbolic method by aircraft responder signals. Said result is achieved by fact that in response to space-oriented request aircraft transponder emits non-directional response signal containing information of onboard number, height, on remaining fuel. Response signal is received at least by three spaced apart receiving units arranged at base stations of cellular communication. In each receiving module signal is decoded and again coded using information on current time from GPS receiver, on number and altitude of aircraft, and using GSM network is sent to processing computer. To obtain three-dimensional information on point of aircraft position it is necessary that information in PC came form at least three receiving modules.

EFFECT: technical result is increased range and accuracy of identification.
