FIELD: lighting engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lighting engineering and is used to generate ball-shaped light flow in ball light emitting sources for lamps with point source of radiation, for example, light-emitting diode with focusing element. Method for correction of directional pattern of ball radiation generator light-emitting element, including formation of radiation from light-emitting element through the radiation focusing element, is characterised by that to form smooth type beam pattern of radiation transparent body is placed in a matte ball shell and transparent body is preliminary divided into volume lightguide sections (light guides), in each of them mirror coatings are made, which perform through openings at the input light guides of transparent body the distribution of focusing element light flow to the opaque inner surface of ball shell radiation generator; amplitude of the input light flow is measured as well as directional pattern of radiation emitted by the focusing element.
